Trillium grandiflorum is a native Ontario plant that has 3 pure white flowers above a whorl of 3 leaves. Makes a wonderful addition to a woodland shade garden mixed with Mertensia virginica (Virginia Bluebells.) It is a spring ephemeral (perennial). After flowering the plants seems to disappear but returns year after year.
