Sedum ‘Night Embers’ (autumn stonecrop) has a very upright, vase-like growth habit with dark black-purple-red semi-glossy succulent leaves. The clusters of mauve-pink flowers are produced on deep red strong stems. Makes a great combination with Heliopsis ‘Sunstruck’. The variegated foliage of the Heliopsis contrasts with the Sedum's dark purple/burgundy red foliage.
