Peonies

We grow everything onsite at Plant Paradise using organic gardening methods. Many of the Peonies we sell are field grown plants that are divided in the fall and are potted in the spring for the coming season. We sell large rooted, potted Peonies and never ship plants.

We specialize in growing ITOH Peonies (Intersectional Peonies). Intersectional Peonies are created by crossing a herbaceous peony with a woody tree peony. This provides them with the best qualities of both: strong, weather resistant flower stems that do not require staking, longer bloom period, extreme hardiness and increased vigor, healthy green foliage, very floriferous with 40-50 blooms on a mature plant. This year we have some new, rarely found ITOH Peonies along with some Lactiflora (herbaceous) Peonies.
