Buddleia ‘Violet Cascade’ (butterfly bush) This plant is perfect for late season flower colour! 'Violet Cascade' has the same large cascading habit as the other members of the series, but with deep purple, cascading flowers. Through 4 years of monitoring for sterility there has been no observed seed set - a stand out trait. Buddleia Violet Cascade’ (butterfly bush) attracts many pollinators, butterflies and beneficial insects. To winter over Buddleia (butterfly bush) in our Zone 4 or 5 Ontario gardens add 2-3 inches of compost in late fall after it has finished flowering and just before the ground freezes.
