Salvia verticillata ‘Purple Rain’ (perennial salvia) has flower spikes of deep violet-purple that whorl up the stem. Salvia is a magnet for pollinators and butterflies. It makes a great plant combination when planted with Geum ‘Totally Tangerine’. This is one of the longest flowering Salvias we have grown. It blooms all summer and until early fall when deadheaded.
